Your nickname is the name other people see in the bet feeds and on your public profile. It is separate from your legal name, and you decide what stays visible and what the platform may send you.
Step by step
The nickname has its own screen, while privacy and messaging live under Preferences.
- Open your profile and choose to change the nickname.
- Type a nickname between 3 and 24 characters.
- Decide right there whether the nickname is visible to other people.
- Save.
- Open Preferences to turn the public profile on or off.
- On the same screen, pick the topics and channels of messages you accept.
Important points
Repeated nicknames are allowed, because the nickname is not your sign-in identifier. It exists only for public screens.
The field rejects web addresses, code characters, invisible characters and a list of offensive terms in Portuguese, Spanish and English.
After you save, the screen asks you to wait before accepting another change. The notice appears in the form itself if you try too soon.
The two switches are linked. Turning off the nickname turns off the public profile with it, and nobody can open the profile.
The privacy section lists each item that may appear: biggest win, favourite game, number of bets, approximate entry, total wagered and liked games. Each one has its own switch.
No public surface shows your identity details. What people see is the nickname, your level art and whatever you allowed in the privacy section.
You choose the topics, such as promotions, rewards and game news, and the channels, such as email, notices stored in the site, and messages that pop up while you browse. There is also a shortcut to stop all marketing at once.
Messages about security, withdrawals and how your account works are not marketing and do not depend on those switches.
The wait between changes only starts counting once you have chosen a nickname. Before that, changing is free.
When a nickname is reported, the team can replace it with a generated one. The account asks you to pick one again, and the wait between changes is cleared.
Common problems
The text hit the offensive terms filter or contains something banned, such as a link. Pick another nickname, with no web addresses and no code characters.
The field accepts 3 to 24 characters. The error message itself says which of the two limits you crossed.
There is a cooldown between changes, so that nobody keeps switching names in the feeds. Wait for the time shown and try again.
Yes, when the brand requires one. The screen opens by itself, offers to keep your current nickname or pick another, and releases the site once you save.
Check both switches under Preferences. If the nickname visibility is off, the profile stays unreachable even when its own switch looks on.
Essential account notices, such as security and withdrawals, keep arriving because they are not marketing. If what arrives is promotional, check that both the topic and the channel are really off.
In the communication section under Preferences there is an action that turns everything off at once, without walking through every switch.
The screen shows an error notice and rolls back to the previous state. Try again, and check your connection if the error persists.
It was reset by the team. The site asks you to pick another one, and at that moment there is no waiting period.
