Terms and policies
1. About this policy
Published version 11.1 How to read this policy
This policy explains how to keep gaming as entertainment, which signs deserve attention, which protection tools the platform offers, what happens to your account when you use each of them and where to find support.
It applies to every game, promotion and reward on the platform and should be read together with the terms of use and the privacy policy.
The tools described here are in the responsible gaming area of your account. You can use them at any time, as often as you like, without having to explain why.
If anything is unclear, support will explain it. No protection request is judged by the team.
1.2 Words used in this policy
Limit. A maximum amount you set for deposits, wagers or losses in a period.
Period. The interval in which a limit is counted: the day, the week or the month.
Platform day. The one-day period used to count daily limits and session time. It starts and ends at the platform's reference time, shown when a daily limit is reached.
Wait. The 24-hour period an increase or removal of a limit goes through before it applies.
Break. A short block on games and deposits, from 1 to 30 days, that ends by itself.
Self-exclusion. A longer closure of the account to gaming and deposits, for a chosen period or with no end date.
Protection. Any active break or self-exclusion on your account.
1.3 Our commitment
We want people who play here to play for fun, within what they can afford, and to easily find the means to slow down or stop.
That is why the protection tools are available to every account, at no cost. Anything that makes you more protected applies immediately. Anything that reduces your protection goes through a wait, so the decision is not made in the heat of the moment.
During a protection, the platform sends no offers or promotions and offers no way to shorten the period you chose.
2. Gaming as entertainment
2.1 What gaming is and what it is not
Gaming is paid entertainment, like a cinema ticket or a night out. The amount you wager is the price of that fun, and the safest way to play is to consider that amount spent from the start.
Gaming is not a way to make money, to top up your income, to pay debts or to solve financial problems. Over time, games return to players less than they receive in wagers.
The result of each round is random and does not depend on previous rounds. No strategy, streak or time of day changes the odds of a game.
2.2 How to stay in control
Decide before you start how much money and how much time you will spend on gaming, and stop when you reach either one, whether you are winning or losing.
Only play with the money left over after your bills, household expenses and an emergency reserve. Never play with borrowed money, with credit or with an amount set aside for something else.
Turn those decisions into rules on your account: deposit, wager and loss limits, a session limit and a time reminder.
Take breaks. Get up, drink some water, talk to someone. Long sessions without stopping make it harder to notice how much time and money have already been spent.
Avoid playing when you are sad, anxious, irritated, tired or under the influence of alcohol or other substances. At those moments it is harder to stop.
Balance gaming with other activities. It should be one of your forms of leisure, never the main one.
2.3 Ideas that lead to losing control
Trying to win back what you lost. Raising your bets or playing on to recover losses usually makes the loss bigger. What has already been lost is part of the cost of the entertainment.
Thinking a prize is on its way. After a run without a prize, the next round is no closer to paying. Each result is independent.
Seeing a near miss as a sign. Coming close to a prize does not mean it is near. It is a result like any other.
Treating a win as income. A prize is luck, not a salary. Consider withdrawing part of your winnings instead of wagering it all again.
Seeing a bonus as guaranteed money. Bonuses have conditions, such as a wagering requirement and a deadline, and only become real balance once those are met. Read the conditions before activating one and never deposit more than you planned just to receive a bonus.
3. Warning signs
3.1 Questions to ask yourself
Answer honestly, thinking about the last few months.
Do you play for longer or with more money than you had planned?
Do you need to wager larger and larger amounts to feel the same excitement?
Do you go back to playing to try to win back what you lost?
Have you ever borrowed money, sold something or left bills unpaid in order to play?
Do you hide from people close to you how much time or money you spend on gaming?
Do you feel irritated, anxious or restless when you try to cut down or stop?
Do you play to escape problems, sadness or loneliness?
Has gaming ever got in the way of your work, your studies, your sleep or your relationships?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, it is worth taking a break and talking to someone you trust. The more questions you answered yes to, the more important it is to seek support.
3.2 What to do when you notice the signs
Start with the simplest step: lower your limits or turn on a session limit. Lowering a limit applies immediately.
If you feel you need distance, ask for a break or a self-exclusion. They block games and deposits as soon as they are confirmed.
Talk to someone you trust and seek specialised support. Asking for help is a sign of care, not of weakness. The ways to get support are in Support and help.
4. Minimum age and protection of minors
4.1 Only for people aged 18 or over
The platform is only for people aged 18 or over. On your first visit, you confirm whether you are of minimum age, and sign-up asks for your date of birth. Anyone who says they are not yet of minimum age has no access to the games.
The team may ask for documents that confirm your age at any time. If the team finds that an account belongs to a minor, the account is blocked.
4.2 How to protect children and teenagers
Do not share your account, your password or your access codes with anyone, especially with minors.
Do not leave the account open on devices used by children or teenagers. Sign out when you finish and protect the device with a password or biometrics.
Use the parental controls of your device, browser or internet provider to stop minors from accessing gaming sites.
In Access and security, you can see the devices connected to your account and end the session on any of them.
5. Amount limits
5.1 Types of limit
Deposit limit. The total you can deposit in the period.
Wager limit. The total you can wager in the period, adding up every round.
Loss limit. How much you can lose in the period, counting the amount wagered minus the winnings from the rounds.
Each type can be set per day, per week and per month, and you can combine as many as you like. Whichever limit is reached first always applies.
5.2 How periods are counted
The daily period follows the platform day. The weekly period starts on Monday and the monthly period starts on the 1st. When a period ends, usage goes back to zero.
The responsible gaming area shows how much of each limit has already been used and how much is left in the current period.
5.3 Setting, lowering, raising and removing
Setting or lowering a limit applies as soon as the save is confirmed.
Raising or removing a limit only applies after 24 hours. Until then, the current limit applies, and the screen shows the date and time the change will apply.
A new increase made during the wait replaces the scheduled one and starts a new wait. You can undo a scheduled change before it applies.
When an increase comes into effect, you receive an email letting you know.
5.4 When a limit is reached
A deposit or a wager that would go over a limit is declined before it happens. The screen shows which limit was reached and when it resets.
A wager cancelled by the game no longer counts towards your limits.
5.5 Limit currency
All limits use the same currency, Brazilian real or US dollar, chosen in the responsible gaming area. Deposits and wagers in other currencies are converted into that currency when they are counted.
Changing the currency waits 24 hours. On the change, the limits and the usage of the current periods are converted once, at the rate of that moment, rounded up.
6. Playing time
6.1 Session limit
The session limit sets how much time per day you can spend playing. The responsible gaming area shows the time already used today and what is left.
When you reach the limit, new bets, game openings and deposits are blocked until the next platform day, and the screen shows when they come back. The account, the balance, withdrawals and support stay available.
Turning on or lowering the session limit applies immediately. Raising or turning off the limit goes through the same 24-hour wait as amount limits.
6.2 Time reminder
The time reminder appears while you play, at the interval you choose, and shows how long the session has been open, how much you have wagered and the result of the rounds.
Time counts from your first bet, and time spent outside the games is not counted. Until you choose another interval, the reminder appears every 60 minutes.
In the reminder, you choose to keep playing, stop for now or see your limits.
7. Break and self-exclusion
7.1 Break
A break blocks games and deposits for 1, 7, 14 or 30 days. It is for anyone who wants to step away for a short time, for example after a bad session or during a more stressful period.
During the break, the account, withdrawals, support and bet history stay available. Access to the games returns by itself at the end of the period.
7.2 Temporary self-exclusion
Temporary self-exclusion closes the account to gaming and deposits for 90, 180 or 365 days. It is for anyone who needs a longer time away.
Access to the games returns by itself at the end of the period.
7.3 Permanent self-exclusion
Permanent self-exclusion closes the account to gaming and deposits with no end date. It is for anyone who has decided to stop playing.
A review can only be requested from support 12 months after it started. The review is not automatic: the team assesses the request before anything changes.
7.4 How to request a protection
In the responsible gaming area, choose the type and duration, read what happens when you confirm and type the word requested on screen. You may give a reason if you wish. The protection starts as soon as it is confirmed.
You can also ask support for a break or a self-exclusion. The team records the request on your account, and it applies in the same way.
You receive an email confirming the start of the protection, with the period you chose.
7.5 Extending a protection
An active protection can be extended or made permanent at any time. The new protection must last longer than the current one.
The period of a break or of a temporary self-exclusion cannot be shortened, neither at your request nor by support.
7.6 End of the protection
When the period ends, access to games and deposits returns by itself, and you receive an email letting you know. Your limits remain in effect.
If a permanent self-exclusion is reviewed and ended by support, you also receive an email, and the change is recorded in your history.
If, near the end of the period, you feel you are not ready to come back yet, request a new protection.
8. During a protection
8.1 What remains available
Your balance stays on the account, and withdrawals already requested remain under review. You can withdraw the available real balance, following the withdrawal rules in the terms of use.
You can still see your statement, your bet history and the responsible gaming area. A round that was already open may finish and be settled.
8.2 What is paused
Games, deposits and swaps between currencies are blocked. The active bonus is paused until the protection ends.
Missions, wheel prizes, scratchcards, cashback and rakeback claims and new referral invitations are paused. Your referrals and previous earnings remain visible.
You can only lower limits, and scheduled changes that would loosen your limits are cancelled when the protection starts.
8.3 Communications and support
Offers and promotions stop being sent through every channel. Service and security messages keep arriving.
During self-exclusion, new support tickets can only be about withdrawals or responsible gaming.
8.4 Do not get around a protection
Creating another account, using someone else's account or asking someone to play for you during a protection breaches the terms of use. An account used to get around a protection may be blocked.
If you feel the urge to get around the protection, that is an important sign. Contact support or one of the support options in this policy.
9. Tracking your activity
9.1 Monthly summary
The monthly summary shows how much you deposited, how much you withdrew and the result of your bets in the current month. Check the summary often to compare what you spent with what you had planned.
9.2 Protection history
The history records every change to your limits and protections, with the date: limits set, adjusted, scheduled and removed, currency changes, breaks, self-exclusions and their end, including those made by support.
9.3 Statement and bet history
The statement shows every movement on the account, and the bet history shows every round with the amount wagered and the result. Use both to see your gaming as it really is.
10. Promotions with responsibility
10.1 Bonuses and rewards
Bonuses and rewards are part of the entertainment, not a way to make money. Each offer shows its conditions before it is activated, and you can give up a bonus at any time, as described in the terms of use.
No offer is a reason to deposit more than you planned or to play beyond your limits. Your limits also apply to deposits made with a coupon.
10.2 Promotional messages
Promotional messages only arrive if you choose to receive them, and every promotional email includes a link to unsubscribe. There is a daily limit of messages per channel and a quiet period at night.
In your account preferences, you choose the topics and channels or turn promotions off completely.
11. Support and help
11.1 Platform support
The support team handles requests about limits, breaks, self-exclusions and any question about this policy. Open a ticket in the Responsible gaming category, from the help centre or from the Help section of the responsible gaming area.
Conversations about responsible gaming are handled discreetly, as described in the privacy policy.
11.2 Specialised support
When the platform lists specialised support lines, they appear in the Help section of the responsible gaming area of your account.
Mutual support groups, such as Gamblers Anonymous, bring together people who want to stop gambling and meet in many countries, in person and online.
Doctors, psychologists and mental health services also treat problem gambling. Contact the health service in your area.
If you are in crisis or thinking about hurting yourself, contact an emergency service or an emotional support service in your area immediately.
11.3 For family and friends
Problem gambling also affects the people around the player. Mood swings, secrecy about money, requests for loans and withdrawing from people can be signs that someone needs help.
Talk calmly, at a quiet moment, without blaming. Listen, show your concern and encourage the person to use the protection tools and to seek support.
Avoid lending money or paying gambling debts. Family and friends can also look for support groups for people who live with a gambler.
12. Other information
12.1 Relationship with the other documents
This policy complements the terms of use. The rules on limits and protections are also described in the terms. Where there is a difference, what the tool's screen showed at the moment you used it applies.
The responsible gaming information you record on your account, including the optional reason for a protection, is handled as described in the privacy policy.
12.2 Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, we publish a new version on this page, with the version number in the first chapter. Changes that reduce your protection never apply to a break or self-exclusion already in progress.
12.3 Contact
For any question about this policy or about the protection tools, open a ticket in the Responsible gaming category.
